MY DESIGN JOURNEY
My deep-rooted love for nature has been the guiding force behind my artistic journey. I have always been captivated by the beauty and intricacy of the natural world. Every rustle of leaves, every burst of colour, and every whisper of the wind stirred something within me, igniting a passion for capturing its essence through my sculptured art.
I utilised Leylandii conifers from my own garden, translating its boundless beauty through carving techniques then translating that onto canvas through
my vivid use of colour.
I am retired from the NHS where I worked for 25 years as an X-Ray Technician. During my time there I was also a TUC Rep and a health and safety officer for the department. I have also served as an advisor for the Citizen Advice Bureau in other roles.
